Her grandfather, Philip G. Epstein, and his twin brother, her great-uncle Julius J. Epstein, wrote the script for Casablanca (1942). Their Oscar statuette resides in her parents' home in Massachusetts.
Has two daughters with Dan Futterman. Sylvie was born in 2001 and Eve was
born in 2005.
