Biography

Louise Emmons was born in 1858 in Yuba County, California, USA. She was an actress, known for The Last Egyptian (1914), White Eagle (1922) and Mush and Milk (1933). She was married to Roswell Emmons. She died on March 6, 1935 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Louise Emmons was buried in an unmarked grave at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA until her unmarked grave was discovered by animation artist Jenny Lerew in 2013. Lerew and film collector Mike Hawks paid and arranged for a marker to be placed for Mrs. Emmons. It was unveiled in a ceremony attended by fellow film historians nearly 80 years later, on March 23, 2014.

Suffered from what has, in more recent years, been informally diagnosed as hypothyroidism.

The 'photo of Louise Emmons, actually is her disguised with long white wig because her role of old gypsy in her last movie "The Mark of the Vampire 1935".
