Biography

Production designer Peter Emmink has over 27 years of experience in various phases of film design, art direction and set construction. In these positions, he has completed nearly 600 episodes of 'series' programming as well as several feature films. His credits as Production Designer include the new Hallmark series "When Hope Calls", the new Netflix series "V-Wars", the TMN series "Living In Your Car", the TMN series "The Line", the award winning CBC series "This Is Wonderland" and "Deacons for Defense" starring Forest Whitaker which won the Black Reel Award for Best Picture among several others. As an art director, Emmink recently completed Season three of "The Expanse", 4 seasons of "12 Monkeys", Season one of "Taken", Season 3 of "Hannibal", the docudrama "Casino Jack" directed by George Hickenlooper, the crime thriller "Horsemen" and "Fugitive Pieces" directed by Jeremy Podeswa. Additional feature film credits include One Way, Snow Cake, Cake and Who Is Cletis Tout? among others. Emmink's many television credits as Art Director include the CBS series Beauty and the Beast, mini-series The Grid and the movies Open Heart, Soldier's Girl, On Hostile Ground and the series A Nero Wolfe Mystery.
