- Randall Emmett is an American film producer, director, and the Co-Founder and Chairman of Emmett/Furla/Oasis (EFO) Films. Since establishing the independent studio in 1998 alongside partner George Furla, Emmett has overseen the production of over 100 feature films, specializing in high-volume, star-driven action cinema.
As a studio head, Emmett is best known for his "high-efficiency" production model, frequently collaborating with Hollywood icons like Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and 50 Cent. Under his leadership, EFO Films became a dominant force in the independent market, securing global distribution for massive action franchises and direct-to-video hits.
Beyond commercial action, Emmett’s executive portfolio includes prestige projects, notably serving as a producer on Martin Scorsese’s Silence and an executive producer on the Academy Award-nominated The Irishman. In recent years, he has expanded his role to directing, often working under the professional pseudonym Ives.

This involves hiring legendary but aging action stars like Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, or Al Pacino for massive daily rates (e.g., $3.5 million for one day for Stallone). Their faces are used to sell the movie globally, even if they only appear on screen for a few minutes.
- Graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Video in 1995.
- Real-Life "Turtle": Before producing, Emmett worked as a personal assistant to Mark Wahlberg. The character "Turtle" from the HBO series Entourage is widely believed to be based on him.
