- Composer, songwriter ("Everytime I Dance With You" ["Papa Pacifico"]), conductor and author, educated at New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was the musical director for Allied Artists studios. Joining ASCAP in 1955, his chief musical collaborator was Raymond Scott. His other popular-song and instrumental compositions include "Not As a Stranger", "Penny", "Tropical Merengue", and "Never Love a Stranger".
