Biography

Jack Ellitt was born in 1902 in Manchester, Lancashire, England, UK. He was an editor and director, known for Methods of Steering the Anderton Shearer Loader (1971), Training for Safety (1972) and Our Country (1944). He was married to Doris Harrison. He died in 2001.

A close collaborator of Len Lye, he was born on 29th May, 1902 in Manchester but grew up in Sydney, Australia. He joined Lye in England in 1927 but returned towards the end of his life with his wife Doris to Australia where he died, at the age of 99, in a nursing home in Wyong, New South Wales in April or early May 1901.
