Josh Eliot(III)

Josh Eliot was hired by Catalina Video in 1987 as a still photographer and set builder. Josh studied film production under George Kuchar (Thundercrack) at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1980. He went on to study at the Ron Bailie School of Broadcast for video production. Josh quickly became 2nd video cameraman, then main cameraman, and eventually head of production. In 1989 Josh shot his first movie Runaways for producer Scott Masters. John Travis took Josh under his wing and trained him on the fine art of adult gay cinema. 5 years after starting with Catalina, at age 30. Josh became the company's producer and the studio continued to pump out 2 movies a month until 2006. In 2002 Josh Eliot was entered into the GayVN Hall of Fame alongside Stephen Scarborough, and John Rutherford from Falcon. Josh Directed 96 movies for Catalina Video. In 2022 Josh began writing weekly bi-blogs for BijouWorld.com that covered behind the scenes stories on the 1980s and 90s. He continues telling those stories to this day.
