Biography

Marianna Elias is a second-generation makeup artist whose interest in her craft was ignited after discovering her uncle's makeup kit. A successful painter and makeup artist in Greece, Elias' uncle taught her how to paint on canvas as well as do makeup at a very young age. Inspired by her mentor, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in the beauty industry.

Elias' passion and dedication for makeup has been a clear driver in her career. She has over 70 major credits in film and television including award-winning medical drama House M.D., the 2009 film Star Trek, The House Bunny starring Anna Faris and the Golden Globe Award winning drama Homeland. The extensive list of celebrities she has worked on includes Hugh Laurie, Olivia Wilde, Candice Bergen, Lily Tomlin and Lucy Hale, among others. Elias' experience also includes also includes national commercial such as Pepsi, Porsche Cayman and T-Mobile. Editorially her work includes Vanity Fair, L'Uomo Vogue, Pixie Mag, the Los Angeles Times and GQ France (cover).

A lifelong learner, EliAs is always educating herself about her craft in an effort to discover new products and expand her talent and creative style. She specializes in beauty, fashion, glamour, natural makeup applications, airbrushing, SFX, period, character, male grooming and tattoo design as well as tattoo application and cover.
