Biography

Nils Eklund was born on January 17, 1927 in Bromma, Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden. He was an actor, known for Lösa förbindelser (1985), Kråsnålen (1988) and Storstad (1990). He was married to Anne-Marie Adamsson. He died on August 4, 2026 in Sweden.

In his youth, he was involved in the city theatres of Helsingborg and Malmö, among others.

Part of the permanent ensemble of the Swedish Drama Theatre until his retirement and was awarded the Litteris et Artibus for "outstanding artistic contributions" in 2010.
