Biography

David Eisenhower was born on March 31, 1948 in West Point, New York, USA. He is known for Ain't Easy Being Green (2007), Running Towards the Fire - A War Correspondent's Story (2024) and Fox Files (1998). He has been married to Julie Nixon since December 22, 1968. They have three children.

Grandson of President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Mamie Eisenhower. Son-in-law of President Richard Nixon and Pat Nixon. Son of John S.D. Eisenhower. Brother of Susan Eisenhower. Uncle of Laura Magdelene Eisenhower, who is known for Alien & UFO disclosure, linking it directly back to her great-grandfather's time in office.

Father of Jennie Eisenhower (b. 1978), Alexander Richard Eisenhower (b. 1980) and Melanie Eisenhower (aka Melanie Catherine Eisenhower) (b. 1984).

While attending Amherst College (Class of 1970), he was an active member of their singing (mainly A cappella) choral group, the Zumbyes. Singing bass, he appeared on at least two of their yearly albums. One issued in 1968 also featured future actor/writer/singer, Stephen Collins. David, himself, was featured on the group's 1970 LP, where he was the featured soloist on the song "Daddy". He also did the arrangement on the song "Taste of Honey" for the group on that same LP.

John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival wrote the song Fortunate Son with him in mind.
