Biography

Jon Eikemo was born on November 30, 1939 in Norway. He was an actor, known for Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by (1988), The Last Place on Earth (1985) and Mormor og de åtte ungene i byen (1977). He was married to Helene Sofie Rasmussen and Mimmi Nordby. He died on June 11, 2025 in Oslo, Norway.

Had his debut on stage in 1961. His movie debut was in 1968 in the movie The Market of the Unknowns (1968).

Was a minor political candidate for the Norwegian Centre Party.

In 2007, he was awarded the Norwegian Arts Council's honorary prize of half a million kroner.

He was associated with the Norwegian Theatre from 1978. Before that time, he participated in productions at Oslo Nye Teater, Den Nationale Scene and the National Theatre.
