- Ida Ehre was born on July 9, 1900 in Prerau, Moravia, Austria-Hungary [now Prerov, Czech Republic]. She was an actress and director, known for It's a Wonderful Life (1946), Der Bagnosträfling (1949) and Helle Nächte (1964). She was married to Bernhard Heyde. She died on February 16, 1989 in Hamburg, West Germany.
