Biography

Neely Edwards was born on September 16, 1883 in Delphos, Ohio, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Show Boat (1929), Scarlet Pages (1930) and Made for Love (1926). He was married to Marguerite Snow and Bella B. Cohen. He died on July 10, 1965 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Played the roles of the bartender and rich man in the tongue-in-cheek Victorian stage melodrama "The Drunkard" and a musical adaptation called "Wayward Way" for a twenty-six year run at the Theatre Mart in Los Angeles, from 31 December 1933 to 18 October 1959. Was half of hoofer-comedy team known as _The Hall Room Boys._
