Nate Dushku is a director, producer and actor, known for Birder (2023), Mapplethorpe (2018) and Antitrust (2001). Nate's directorial debut, the satirical erotic thriller Birder (2023), won the Jury Award for Best First Feature Narrative at Melbourne Queer Film Festival in 2023 and was named one of Esquire's "6 Best Sex Movies of 2024".

His father is of Albanian ancestry. His maternal grandparents were both of half Danish descent, with their other roots being English, Irish, and German.
