He is an avid collector of rare Art Deco furniture and collectibles. His collection ranges from French Deco including Max LeVerrier and Louis Majorelle to a mint model 1428 Rockola jukebox and a rare 1940s Jennings floor slot machine.

Has one brother and one sister that live on the East Coast.

Fell in love with Italy while filming a commercial at Lake Como. Visits frequently. Some of his favorite towns include Alba, Sorrento, Merano and Riva Del Garda.

Is of Irish and French descent.

Once performed a small part in Petrouchka with the Joffrey Ballet, under direction of Jodi Wintz, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.

Good friends with model Iman.

Shot several commercials with director Paul Giraud. Paul later died in a helicopter crash while filming a commercial.

Trains in mixed martial arts including Muay Thai and Jiujitsu. Is a 2nd degree black belt in Hapkido and Taekwondo. Kukkiwon certified by the World Taekwondo Headquarters and certified by the International Hapkido Federation.

Is an aficionado of the Art Deco Queen Mary ocean liner in Long Beach. Attends many events there and owns several original antiques from her days at sea.

Was once a doorman and bouncer at 'The Palace' nightclub in Hollywood.

His son, Aidan, also works in commercials and became a member of the Screen Actors Guild at age 7.

His son trains, and competes, in MMA. Became a black belt in Hapkido and Taekwondo at age 8 and 2nd degree at age 12. Kukkiwon certified through the World Taekwondo Headquarters and certified by the International Hapkido Federation.

One of his favorite poets is Octavio Paz.

Included in his Art Collection are original works by Perrault, Mucha, Sonrel, Kurt Hilscher, Andrea Raccagni, and a Gilbert oil on canvas of a Paris street scene.

Owns a collection of rare Catalina, San Jose and Taylor tile murals.

Costa Careyes and San Miguel de Allende are two of his favorite places in Mexico.

Early on in Hollywood he studied voice with Lurene Tuttle. They became good friends. They used to listen to recordings of her old radio shows together.

He is also a writer. Has written poems and short stories. He has been published in various magazines such as The Sun. One short story was about the life and death of his cousin Kent D. "Butch" Erickson, who died in Vietnam. His name is etched in the Vietnam Memorial Monument in D.C. Another was about the life and death of his close friend actor Ron Marquette.

Is fond of Cat Skiing.

Involved in high speed downhill skateboarding. Rides a Landyachtz Wolfshark and Evo.

Has his private pilot's license.

Has three children. A son; Aidan Montgomery and two daughters; Sawyer Anne and Logan Rain.

For many years, he lived at The Villa Bonita apartments. The Villa Bonita is a historic 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival apartment building located in Hollywood. He also had an apartment in an Art Deco building on Green Street in Russian Hill in San Fransisco.

During the '80's, did runway shows and worked with designers such as Henry Grethel and Pierre Cardin in New York and Milan.

Durbin is one of the most prolific commercial faces of his era, securing long-standing international campaigns.
