Was in the play Nine Girls at The Highland Playhouse in 1949.

As a child she worked in several films including A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Hollywood Canteen, To Each His Own, Kitty, and The Green Years.

Graduated from University of Southern California where she belonged to Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Sang, danced, and acted as a child and was a member of The Youth Theater at Geller Theater Workshop in Los Angeles.
