- Minnie Dupree was born on January 19, 1873 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA. She was an actress, known for The Young in Heart (1938), Anne of Windy Poplars (1940) and Two Masters (1928). She died on May 23, 1947 in New York City, New York, USA.
- Stage actress. Appeared in a prolific number of productions on Broadway from 1896-1946. Her resume includes the hits, 1922's 'The Old Soak,' 1923's 'The Shame Woman' and appeared as "Martha Brewster" [replacement actress for 'Jean Adair'] in the smash comedy hit, 'Arsenic and Old Lace' that ran for a remarkable 1444 performances from 1941-1944. She died a little more than 3 months after her last production, 'Land's End,' had closed.
- Producer David Selznick had originally hoped to cast the great stage actress Maude Adams in the role Miss Fortune in "The Young in Heart." Miss Adams had no interest in reactivating her career, and the role was then given to Minnie Dupree.
- Upon her death, her remains were interred at Saint Pauls Church Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York.
