Streaming Stars, Then and Now

John Dunning was born on 27 April 1927 in Verdun, Québec, Canada. He was a producer and writer, known for Meatballs (1979), My Bloody Valentine (2009) and My Bloody Valentine (1981). He was married to Jean Myzner. He died on 19 September 2011 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Inducted into the Canadian Film and Television Hall of Fame in 2007 along with his co-founding partner of Cinepix, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0512857/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">André Link</a>.

Co-founded Cinepix in 1962 with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0512857/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">André Link</a>; the company was renamed Lions Gate Films in 1997 following its purchase by Lions Gate.
