Patrick Sheane Duncan was born on 15 January 1947 in Texas, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Courage Under Fire (1996), Mr. Holland's Opus (1995) and Vietnam War Story (1987).

Screenwriter Patrick Duncan wrote a brilliant script, inspired by the remarkable, true story of young philanthropist Zach Bonner; and was himself simply wonderful to work with.
