Adrianne Duncan

Adrianne Duncan is a pianist, composer, arranger, singer, songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. She has played and sung on numerous albums, films and television shows, including films The Young Kieslowski (2014), God's Country (2022) and Sanctuary (2022), the musical episode of The L Word: Generation Q (2019), and on both albums of Grammy-nominated Lado B Brazilian Project, with whom she toured Brazil on keyboards and vocals. Her compositions appear in two short films, Na Na Na (Na) (2017) and Impact: The Musical (What If) (2019), the recordings of which she produced, arranged and played keyboard and other instruments on. She co-composed music with John Swihart for the pilot More Time with Family (2014), produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. She has co-written, produced and arranged albums for actor-singers Lawrence Wolf (Pound (1970), Putney Swope (1969)) and Jacqueline Emerson (The Hunger Games (2012)).

Also a vocal contractor for film, television and concert music, Adrianne's projects include Preparation for the Next Life (2025), America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys (2025), Death and Other Details (2024) and the KCRW-sponsored 2022 filmed holiday concert of composer Emile Mosseri. She coached actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw for her piano playing in her title role in the film Belle (2013). She has won numerous competitions, awards and scholarships for her piano playing and has toured and performed in the United States, Europe and South America, including at such Los Angeles venues as The Blue Whale, Catalina Jazz Club, REDCAT at Disney Hall and the Skirball Cultural Center.

Adrianne also has an extensive acting background, appearing in numerous plays, commercials, television shows and films. She played Robyn in the quirky independent feature True Believer (2022) and appears as herself in the Marina Abramovic documentary 512 Hours (2021). She starred opposite veteran actor Seymour Cassel in the thriller The Chameleon (2001), as well as appearing in Home Alone 3 (1997), Early Edition (1996) and several independent and short films. Her commercial campaigns as a principal on-camera talent include a long-running national campaign for Payless ShoeSource, as well as spots for Head & Shoulders, Max Factor, Cheer and Hardee's. She is a Northwestern University graduate in music and theatre and has performed at many Chicago theatres, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, the Playwright's Center, Organic Theater and Bailiwick Repertory, and studied with Uta Hagen and Michael Shurtleff.
