- Born into a family of wine merchants in Marseille, France. Her parents emigrated to the US when she was an infant and settled in Paterson, NJ.

- Made her debut on Broadway opposite Walter Huston at the age of seven.
- Body cremated. Specifically: She was cremated at Angeles Abbey in Compton, California, through the Neptune Society and her ashes are currently in an unknown location.
