Biography

Warren Duff was born on May 17, 1904 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Out of the Past (1947), Chicago Deadline (1949) and Deluge (1933). He died on August 5, 1973 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Screenwriter and occasional producer, with acting and directing experience from the New York stage. With Warner Brothers, 1933-40, where he worked on several James Cagney vehicles. Subsequently at Paramount (1940-43) and RKO (1944-47). From 1959 to 1972, primarily active as producer of episodic television and writer of teleplays.
