Ruth Drexel was born on July 14, 1930 in Vilshofen an der Donau, Bavaria, Germany. She was an actress and director, known for Der Bulle von Tölz (1996), Agathe kann's nicht lassen (2005) and Münchner Geschichten (1974). She was married to Michael Adami. She died on February 26, 2009 in Feldkirchen, Bavaria, Germany.

Longtime companion of Hans Brenner until his death.

Mother of Katharina Adami (b. 1956, with Michael Adami) and Cilli Drexel (b. 1975, with Hans Brenner).

Multi award-winning Bavarian actress, director and stage manager (from 1981), co-founder of the Tiroler Volksschauspiele. Trained at the Otto-Falckenberg Academy in Munich. A regular performer at the Munich Kammerspiele from 1953 to 1971. Extremely popular on German television, noted especially for her recurring roles in Münchner Geschichten (1974) and Der Bulle von Tölz (1996).
