- Amanda trained at R.A.D.A. She has appeared at the Royal Court, the RNT, the RSC, the Almeida, in the West End and on Broadway. Her television work includes A Very British Scandal, The Girl Before, The Outlaws, and Gangs of London. She was nominated for Outstanding Newcomer in 2003 at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, and won the Clarence Derwent Award for her performance in "Eastward Ho!" for the RSC at the Gielgud Theatre.

- A talented stage actress, Amanda enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, graduating in 1992 when she was 23.
