Rosetta Drenth is a Rotterdam-based actor working across film, TV, theatre, mix media, VR, and audio within the European market. Originally from Amsterdam, she trained at the Drama School of Amsterdam and continued her development through the Chubbuck technique, Freedom techniques, and Demon work with Elisabet Sevholt. Her screen work includes lead roles in De Familie and Quitte, as well as roles in KLAS and Shariff Korver’s Do Not Hesitate. She will appear as Anne in Edson de Conceicao’s upcoming film Verloren Zoon.
Rosetta is drawn to material that sits between humor and fracture, especially stories centered on women over 40 who resist being sidelined. Colleagues note her willingness to approach characters without polishing their edges, using personal parallels to anchor the work. Her perspective is shaped by navigating male dominated environments and supporting a father with Alzheimer’s.
Alongside acting, Rosetta writes and creates theatre and short films. Her skills include swimming, ballroom dancing, sailing, windsurfing, canyoning, extreme sports, and a history of extreme sports (like skydiving and rock climbing)
