Warde Donovan was born on February 25, 1916 in Los Angeles County, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Did You Hear the One About the Traveling Saleslady? (1968), Get Smart (1965) and Hot Lead and Cold Feet (1978). He was married to Phyllis Diller and Margery Belle Todd. He died on April 16, 1988 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Tall, handsome baritone of post-war musicals who met wife Phyllis Diller while both were performing in a Chicago revival of the musical "Wonderful Town" in the summer of 1962.

He served in the US Navy during World War II.

Ex-stepfather of Perry Diller, Peter Diller, Stephanie Diller, Sally Diller and Sue Diller.

In her autobiography "Like a Lampshade in a Whorehouse", ex-wife Phyllis Diller claims Warde was bisexual, which resulted in their divorce in 1975.
