Biography

Kathryn Doby was born on January 30, 1938. She is an actress, known for Cabaret (1972), All That Jazz (1979) and The Handmaid's Tale (1990). She is married to Wolfgang Glattes.

She and her husband, Wolfgang Glattes, both worked on the crews of the Bob Fosse films All That Jazz (1979) and Star 80 (1983). They went on to collaborate on a documentary short about Fosse some 29 years after his death, Fosse: Recreated (2016).

While working as assistant choreographer on the crew of the Bob Fosse film All That Jazz (1979), she also acted and danced in the film as a character with her same first name, who is an assistant choreographer to Joe Gideon, Fosse's alter ego. Her later film credits include "dance assistant: Mr. Fosse" for a film which Fosse wrote and directed, Star 80 (1983).
