Christopher Wood was born on November 5, 1935 in London, England, UK. He was a writer and actor, known for The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979) and Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985). He was married to Jane Patrick. He died on May 9, 2015 in France.

Although he died in May 2015, his death only became widely known in October when Roger Moore published the news on Twitter, saying: "He wrote two of my best.".

Is to date the only James Bond movie writer who has been given the chance to write novels based upon his scripts: The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.

One of the keys of writing a Bond-movie, is to do the same thing, just differently.

About working on Moonraker: I felt like being James Bond myself; travel to exotic places, private Lear-jets, the best food and wine, beautiful women, beautiful situations -and getting paid for it!
