French-born musician, filmmaker, writer, photographer, and producer Marianne Dissard got her BA in Film Production from the University of Southern California. Moving to Tucson, Arizona after graduation, she directed documentaries and music videos before becoming a solo performing artist releasing and touring her albums of desert noir chanson worldwide. A writer of lyrics with a first book-length memoir, 'Not Me', published in 2019, Dissard has worked with artists in the States and Europe. She lived in Ramsgate, Kent and Matera, Italy before settling in Glasgow, Scotland while maintaining strong ties to the Tucson music community.
