Patrice Dinhut

A graduate of the Schools of Architecture of Berkeley and Bordeaux, Patrice Dinhut has had a varied career in the visual arts. When working in San Francisco for the architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, he discovered the field of computer graphics and moved to Los Angeles to work as a Visual Effects Supervisor at Digital Productions, Metrolight and Dreamquest. He then transitioned to directing commercials with TAXI Films and Alta Vista for clients including BMW, Jeep, Chrysler, McDonalds, Tecate, Carta Blanca and Major League Baseball. He directed three TV films (Syfy channel) before returning to architecture to co-design the innovative Aquascendo system that allows users to adjust the depth of their pool to their convenience. A dual national of the United States and France, he equally enjoys the fields of filmmaking and architecture.
