Louis DiGiaimo was born on October 20, 1938 in Paterson, New Jersey, USA. He was a casting director and producer, known for Thelma & Louise (1991), Gladiator (2000) and Sorcerer (1977). He was married to Lee. He died on December 19, 2015 in Oakland, New Jersey, USA.

He contributed with the casting of four films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: The Godfather (1972), The Exorcist (1973), Rain Man (1988) and Gladiator (2000). With the exception of The Exorcist (1973), all the other three films were winners in the category and all three won the Best Actor Oscar.
