- Jed wrote and story boarded the introduction to Kung-Fu Panda when the film was on the verge of being shelved. The Directors asked him to 'show them his vision of the film' which not only re-invigorated the project, but convinced Dreamworks to re-open a shuttered 2D department to create the intro as a style differentiating Po's imagination from the CG 'reality'.
- The first sequence put into production for the Secret Life of Pets was Jed's 'Meet Duke" scene which the studio felt hit the right balance of pacing, tone, and character for the film.
- Jed's original story for Minions & Monsters was about the Minions going out to save a village from a dragon, but instead they end up working for it, and ride it back to burn down the village they wanted to save. Producer Brett Hoffman pushed for a concept that abandoned that 'minions working for a big boss' premise, for something where they could be more heroic.
- The movie "Minions & Monsters" is a concept created by Jed as a short film, part of a first-look deal where they asked him to create, and write three original concepts for the Minions, one of which he would direct. Minions & Monsters was inspired by Jed's son having just inherited his D&D miniatures, and seeing him learn to play with them and create his own games with them.
- KPOP Demon Hunters hired Jed as a Head of Story to build their story department, as well as hire and train a team. Shortly after helping wrangle their story for the first story launches he was asked to serve as an unofficial co-director and writer by the directors & producers. The first screening was praised by Sony leadership as their best first screening, and an unprecedented amount of it stayed intact to the final cut.
