Born in Santa Monica, California. Mother actress Jean Vander Pyl (voice of
Wilma Flintstone, Rosie the Robot etc....). Father Roger Wells DeWitt,
symphonic musician formerly with the 'Boston Pops Orchestra [us]', 'Houston Symphony [us]', Boston Symphony,
and Freddy Martin Orchestra. Roger is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University. In
1990, he moved to New York City and right away went on tour with the
National company of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" first in the role
of Mssr. Reyer then in the role of Mssr Andre. He was on tour for 4 1/2
years and performed the show nearly 1600 times. Roger lives in New York
City with his faithful companion "Buddy" a Norwitch
Terrier.
