Biography

Devereaux Jennings was born on September 22, 1884 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He was a cinematographer, known for The General (1926), Unconquered (1947) and The Lost World (1925). He was married to Adele Camille Badarous Davis and Cleo Wells. He died on March 12, 1952 in Hollywood, California, USA.

Brother of special effects expert Gordon Jennings.

Helped to found the American Society of Cinematographers along with Dal Clawson and 13 other cameramen on 21 December 1918.
