Biography

Jacques Destoop was born on June 17, 1931 in Paris, France. He was an actor and writer, known for Joséphine ou la comédie des ambitions (1979), The Hunter Will Get You (1976) and The Punishment (1973). He was married to Geneviève Fontanel. He died on June 6, 2022 in France.

Member of the Comédie-Française between 1958 and 1986 (Sociétaire since 1968).

A talented painter.
