Mangesh Desai, is a legendary sound recordist in Indian Film History. One of the most significant contributor to the Indian Cinema with his special skills in Sound Recording & Mixing, Mangesh Desai worked with the best film makers in Indian Cinema like V Shantaram, Satyajit Ray, Raj Kapoor, Shyam Benegal, Kamaal Amrohi, Ramesh Sippy, Sunil Dutt, Yash Chopra, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Gulzar, Vijay Anand & Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Mangesh Desai has more than 500 films to his credits including Sholay, Deewar, Paakeezah, Jhanak Jhanak. Paayal Baaje, Anand, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Teesri Manzil, Mera Naam Joker, Silsila to name a few.
