- Ernst Dernburg was born on April 4, 1887 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor, known for The October Man (1947), Das Rheinlandmädel (1930) and Die lebende Tote (1919). He died on September 23, 1969 in Berlin, Germany.
- German character actor. Appeared on stage, primarily in Berlin, from 1913. In films, he was usually cast in authoritarian roles. During the 1920's, Dernburg also served in a judiciary function on a theatrical arbitration tribunal.
