Biography

Johnny Dennis was born on August 13, 1940 in London. He was an actor, known for The Endless Game (1989), Dempsey and Makepeace (1985) and Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire (1985). He died on December 3, 2016.

He was a member of the Water Rats.

He performed in many tributes to music hall stage shows.

He was the senior announcer for Marylebone Cricket Club, based at the Home of Cricket, for 18 years, hence his nickname "The Voice of Lord's".
