- When she was five months pregnant with her second son Bennett, it was found out that the unborn baby had multiple heart defects and might not survive. Bennett was born on Sept. 20, 2017 and the very next day he was in the hospital headed to CHLA in hopes that the doctors could save his life. On Sept. 25, Bennett went in to surgery and cardiothoracic surgeon Vaughn Starnes did the impossible by successfully completing procedures that most kids do not survive.
