Biography

Bob Delegall was born on July 24, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor and director, known for The Gregory Hines Show (1997), The Presidio (1988) and Linc's (1998). He was married to Fran Saperstein. He died on March 21, 2006 in Venice, California, USA.

Was producer/director on The Gregory Hines Show (1997) in 1997.

Taught acting at East Los Angeles College, and was an acting coach for such stars as Gregory Hines, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Michael O'Keefe and Tyra Banks.

Acting career began with the Philadelphia Freedom Theater and in New York and regional theater, including roles in "The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel" (off-Broadway), "Sizwe Bansi Is Dead," and "Ceremonies in Dark Old Men."

Married to producer/manager Fran Saperstein and had two children: Jewel Delegall, a dancer, and Eric Delegall.

Was a graduate Directing Fellow of the American Film Institute.
