After high school, Cristina Deleanu attended the Institute of Theater and Cinematography in Bucharest.
When she was just four years old, during the bombing of Ploiesti, the family's wooden shelter was destroyed, and her biological father, a neighbor boy, and a girl from the house died before her eyes.
Graduated in 1962, she was assigned to the "Vasile Alecsandri" National Theater in Iasi.
