- Yvonne Delcour was born on May 8, 1932 in Gent, Flanders, Belgium. She was an actress, known for Aanrijding in Moscou (2008), De lucht zuiver... maar wij ook (1973) and Bij tante Wanne (1974). She was married to Romain Deconinck. She died on August 20, 2024 in Gent, Flanders, Belgium.

- After her first marriage, she married theater director Romain Deconinck. They also played together in the theater.
- Yvonne left a lasting mark on the Minard Theater. It was her home. Lodge 25, on the first middle balcony, will forever become the Yvonne Delcour Lodge.
- In 2005 she also played in the puppet theater production Chapeau Romain together with Jean-Pierre Maeren. It was an ode to her late husband.
- Yvonne always remained committed to the recognition of 'her' Romain. For example, his statue in front of the Minard Theater was partly created thanks to her.
- As a teenage girl she took dance lessons with Lily De Munter and after the war she founded "Dansgezelschap Verschueren" together with her sisters.
