Biography

Maurice Dekobra was born on May 28, 1883 in Paris, France. He was a writer and director, known for La rafle est pour ce soir (1954), Minuit... place Pigalle (1928) and Opération Magali (1953). He died on June 1, 1973 in Paris, France.

Fought in the French army during World War I, from 1914-18. Won the Legion of Honor for bravery in combat.
