- Ian's writing partner is Kristin Robinson. After graduating from Northwestern University's Radio / TV / Film program, he started his career working for James L. Brooks' Gracie Films. Ian served two terms on the WGAw Board of Directors from 2009-2013. Together, Ian and Kristin wrote the 2010 feature film, Life As We Know It starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel, and most recently co-created the Prime Video family drama It's Not Like That starring Scott Foley and Erinn Hayes.
