Biography

Nana de Herrera was born on September 22, 1905 in Lima, Peru. She was an actress and writer, known for Zora l'endiablée (1923), The Pride and the Passion (1957) and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958). She died on April 4, 1991 in Paris, France.

Most recognized for her face... on a stop-motion four-armed serpent dancer, created by Ray Harryhausen, in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad where she plays the character (a surly maid to the ingenue princess) that is turned into this creature for one classic, memorable scene.
