She appeared in "Runaways" at Joseph Papp's Public Theatre and played Maria in the 1980 Broadway revival of "West Side Story". Other Broadway shows include "Carmelina" (1979, her Broadway debut) and as Sister Sara in the 1992 "Guys and Dolls" revival on Broadway. Most recently, she played Marian the Librarian in "The Music Man" in summer stock.
