Biography

Went to Peter Symonds College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.

Jack is not the first entertainer in his family. His maternal grandparents were both repertory actors, his mother's great grandmother was a variety/music hall entertainer, and his great uncle Charlie was a piano-player/comedian.

In 1991 he was nominated for The Perrier Comedy Award at The Edinburgh Festival.

Became the face of an advertising campaign for "John Smith's Bitter" in the UK during the 1990s, its hook being that each can contained a "widget" which continually re-carbonated the drink inside. Being only 5' 3", he became known as "The Midget with the Widget".

He won series 1 of Celebrity Big Brother (2001).
