Won an Olympic Gold Medal with skating partner Jayne Torvill at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. They subsequently became the highest scoring ice dancers in the competition, scoring nine 6.0s for artistic impression for their skate to Ravel's Bolero, a score never seen before or since.
