- Albert De Winton was born on November 9, 1879 in Crickhowell, Breconshire [now Powys], Wales, UK. He was an actor, known for The Love Parade (1929), King of the Wild (1931) and Now We'll Tell One (1932). He died in May 1934 in Brazil.
- It's believed that Winton was killed by natives somewhere along the Amazon River in South America. He was on a rescue expedition to find Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett when his rescue party was sieged by savage natives.
