Biography

Marie de Villepin started as a model in New York in 2005. At the time, she also took acting lessons. Her break-through as a model happened when she was chosen to be the face of Givenchy perfume "Ange ou Démon" for which she also appeared in a commercial directed by Mike Figgis. Her real film career started when she was chosen to portray leading role Julie Mahé in the movie "Baikonur", from German film director V. Helmer in 2010. The film received quite good international critics and was broadcast in many international film festivals around the world. She then took part in a fashion video directed by Rie Rasmussen in 2013, which kept her in front of the camera. In 2013, she was chosen by the casting director of the movie "Yves Saint Laurent" from Jalil Lespert to portray Betty Catroux, which was released in France early January 2014. This supporting role is giving her more visibility. She also leads a singing career and belongs to two different bands, in France and the United States.
